A Life Kayotic is an amalgamation of my life, my experiences, my struggles. Whether it is art, life, or a component built in Angular, everything is here, and it is me. Whatever that may be.

Because sometimes, things just need to be discussed out loud. Coming from a background heavy in both creativity and logic, and just trying to survive this world, there are struggles.
Am I the only one that faces these struggles? No. Absolutely not.
Is everyone else also facing these struggles alone? Probably.
Let’s face it, we probably feel like no one else could possibly understand. Since getting forced out of my cozy life of WFH, I have learned that we are all in a similar boat, just passing each other in the cold, cold, night.
I wish I knew…
Honestly, I am just trying to find my way in this new world. After losing my cushy tech job a year and a half ago, I don’t know which way is up. I don’t know what to do with myself, I don’t even know where I am heading to next.

And when I’m not overthinking? Probably found procrastinating. This could be in a sketchbook, or on a walkabout. Whatever it is, I guarantee I am avoiding something else. Probably something more important.
Many, many, moons ago I started a MySpace page called “Kayotic Art”. Mostly because my name (Kristy), my art signature (K), and my general theme was just complete and total chaos. I didn’t plan things, still don’t. I just let things tell me what needs to be where.
This goes for everything. Art, sketchbooks, gardening, cooking, interior decorating, and even my wardrobe. These things aren’t wrinkled, guess that is my look today.
Thank you for accompanying me on this journey. I feel like it’s something that we all struggle with at some point.
The world is full of how-to’s, don’t-do’s, perfection, and advice. Where does it end? Where should it begin?
